This Policy applies to Become services provided globally, including the iOS app and planned web service channels.
3. Information We Collect
- Account information: email address, Apple ID related login data, and Apple private relay email if you choose Hide My Email.
- User content: vision/goal inputs, log text, questionnaire answers, and AI dialogue/feedback content.
- Technical and usage data: device identifiers, IP address, crash logs, and analytics events.
- Regional context data: timezone and country/region context (we do not collect precise location).
- Payment-related data: subscription and transaction status through Apple In-App Purchase. We do not directly process your full payment card details.
We do not request or collect precise GPS location data in the app. We only process coarse regional context such as timezone and country/region.
Subscription payments are processed by Apple In-App Purchase. Apple handles payment credentials and transaction security under Apple’s platform safeguards, and we receive subscription/transaction status needed to provide paid features.
4. How We Use Information
- Provide account login, identity verification, and service access control.
- Generate AI coaching outputs, reports, and growth insights based on your inputs and behavior data.
- Operate subscriptions, entitlement checks, and purchase restoration through Apple channels.
- Maintain product reliability, monitor errors, and perform security auditing.
5. Data Storage and Security
We apply least-privilege access controls and security auditing to reduce unauthorized access and misuse risks. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only as necessary to deliver the service workflow. Current service providers may include:
- Supabase (data infrastructure)
- OpenAI and/or other model providers (AI processing)
- Apple (authentication and subscription billing through Apple systems)
Data may be processed across multiple countries/regions, including outside mainland China, depending on service infrastructure and user location. By using Become, you acknowledge and agree that your data may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions different from your own.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
If you request account deletion, we will process deletion and retain backup copies for up to 90 days before final removal, unless a longer period is required by law.
8. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA-aligned)
You may request:
- Access to personal data we hold about you
- Deletion of your personal data
We will respond to eligible requests within 15 days after receiving and verifying your request. This 15-day period is our response/processing timeline, not a deadline that limits your right to apply.
9. Cookie and Similar Technologies
For the current service, we do not rely on advertising cookies. If cookies or similar technologies are introduced on web channels in the future, we will update this Policy and provide consent choices where required by applicable laws (including GDPR and CCPA requirements). Users will be able to manage cookie preferences through available consent controls.
10. Children and Age Requirement
Minimum age to use Become is 9+. If we learn that data has been provided in violation of applicable law, we may remove related data and restrict access as needed.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the website at least 14 days in advance.
